Rob Kolhouse holds a BFA from Indiana University, and an MFA in ceramics from the University of Florida. Heavily influenced by Donna Haraway’s Cyborg Manifesto and the cyberpunk classic Ghost in the Shell, his figure sculptures investigate constructed gender using the cyborg. His work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally. He has completed residencies at Red Lodge, Watershed, Woodstock, and Guldagergaard in Denmark. Currently, he is a long-term artist-in-residence at Mesa Arts Center in Arizona.
